Louis C. Gustafson, Jr., Age 83, of Kenedy, TX, peacefully passed onto his eternal reward March 21, 2021.  He was born May 23, 1937 to Louis Carl Gustafson, Sr. and Linea Nelson in Cadillac, TX.  In March of 1961 Louis married the love of his life, Betty, who preceded him in death 2013.  He retired fromm the United States Postal Service and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenedy.  Louis enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, and visiting with friends and family. He was much loved and will be keenly missed.

Louis is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Andrews Gustafson; and his parents, Louis Carl, Sr. and Linea Nelson Gustafson.

Louis is survived by his children, Johnny Gustafson of New Braunfels, Tommy Gustafson and wife Georgia Ruth of Louise, Kathy Stewart and husband David of Kenedy; sister, Gloria Gustafson of Karnes City; grandchildren, Jason Ethridge and wife Lori of Choate, Jena Frnka and husband Kyle of Victoria, Valerie Harvey and husband Tom of Andrews, Jeffrey Stewart of Houston, great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Lilly, Adrianna, Ellaina and Mikhail.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9AM to 11AM in the Eckols Chapel with Services beginning at 11AM in the Eckols Chapel with the Rev. Wally Schievelbein officiating.  Interment will follow in the Karnes City Cemetery in Karnes City, TX.

Serving as Pallbearers will be David Miller, Neal Ethridge, William Chesser, David Andrews, James Wood, and Rodney Chesser.

Honorary Pallbearers: Russell Chesser, Hanly Miller, Robert Andrews, and Jim Miller.
