Adela M. Davila

Adela M. Davila of Kenedy, Texas was born on December 21, 1950 in Runge,TX to the late Pedro and Idalia Jasso Moreno passed away on September 6, 2019 at the age of 68. Mrs. Davila was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and the Guadalupana Society. She was retired from Stimson Furniture (now Ashley Furniture) after over 40 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband Lupe V. Davila; her brothers: Joe Moreno and Pedro Moreno and parents. Survivors include her daughter: Monica (Josepha) Davila of Alice, TX; son: Michael (Selina) Davila of Spring, TX; 5 Grandchildren: Christopher Serenil, Nicholas Serenil, Daniella Davila, Ciera Davila, and Matthew Davila.; 7 Great Grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Vicky(Fred)Marroquin of Victoria, TX, Petra (Erasmo)Rodriguez of Pettus, TX, Jesse(Norberta)Moreno of San Antonio, TX, Rumalda(Ray) Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, Juan (Rosalinda)Moreno of Runge, TX and Stella (Louis) Sanchez of Beeville, TX; sisters-inlaw: Adele Moreno and Lenora Moreno; numerous niece, nephews, and other relatives.  Rosary will be recited Monday, September 9, 2019 at 7:00p.m. in the Eckols Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, September 10,2019 at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert Hermann officiating. Interment will follow in Kenedy Cemetery.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jaime Rodriguez, Christopher Marroquin, Javier Moreno, Hilario Rodriguez, Louis Miguel Sanchez, Nicholas Serenil, and Matthew Davila.
