Frances R. Longoria, Age 91, of Kenedy, TX passed away Thursday, September 5, 2019 in Karnes City, TX. Frances was born on February 24, 1928 in Stockdale to the late Apolito and Minga Rivas Rodriguez.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, homemaker, and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.  She is preceded in death by her husband Blas Longoria, Sr.; parents, Apolito and Minga Rivas Rodriguez, sons, Cosme Longoria, Chon Longoria, Johnny Longoria, Toby Longoria, Sr.; and a grandson, Toby “T.J.” Longoria, Jr..  She is survived by her daughters, Minnie Prieto and husband Steve of Kenedy, Katie Lomas and husband Jesse of Pasadena, Mary Jane Aguero of Karnes City, Corina Santos and Rene Rosales of Kenedy; sons, Blas Longoria and wife Rose of Corpus Christi, Paul Longoria and wife Sobie of Kenedy; brother, Antonio Rodriguez of Florida and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  A Holy Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 7PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 9, 2019 at 10AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Kenedy, TX.
