Mark Stephen Huckman was born in Houston, TX on Labor Day, September 7, 1964 to Geraldine Reeve Huckman and Michale Paul Huckman who was a student at the University of Texas Dental School.  Mark was welcomed by an older brother Michael Edward and in 1988 they welcomed Matthew Hill Huckman.  The family then moved to Beeville in 1968.  Mark attended St. Phillips kindergarten, R.A. Hall Elementary School, and A.C. Jones.  One of his teachers, Charlotte Sullivan Shepherd says, “Mark was, and still is one of my favorite students ever.  He was such a sweet kind young man with the most beautiful personality and a delight to teach.”  Mark graduated from Texas State University with a degree in computer science.  Mark’s professional career was in secure computer information software.  Mark married Julie Lang and together they adopted Jake Christian Huckman.  While Mark lived in Colorado they were ski and winter sport enthusiast.  When they moved to Lago Vista they became water sport enthusiasts spending every spare moment on Lake Lago Vista.  Mark passed unexpectedly and went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2021.  Mark is preceded in death by his father. Dr. Michael Paul Huckman.  Mark is survived by his mother, Rev. Jerry Huckman; step-father, Rev. Dr. Jack Myers; brothers, Michael Edward Huckman, Mathew Hill Huckman; aunt, Jackie Arvantinos and husband Chris and 8 nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with Memorial Services starting at 11:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church, 715 N. Saint Mary’s Street, Beeville, TX.  Interment will follow in the Kenedy Cemetery in Kenedy, TX.  Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael Edward Huckman, Matthew Hill Huckman, Mark Mayfield, Wayne Evans, Michael Paul Huckman, and Rev. Dr. Jack Myers.  Honorary Pallbearers are Chris Arvantinos and Matthew Hill Huckman, Jr.
