Paulita Medina Martinez of Portland, TX formerly of Kenedy, Texas was born on March 9, 1941 in Karnes City, Texas to Refugio Medina Sr. and Maria Teodora Ybarra Medina and passed away on October 22, 2021 at the age of 80 years old. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, four brothers, one sister and one grandson, Christopher Lee Nava. She is survived by her daughters: Frances Sosa (Carlos) Nava of Taft, TX and Mary Ann Guerra of Edna Texas; son Edward (Brenda) Sosa of Edna, TX; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; brother: Benito Medina of Floresville, TX; many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday,  October 26, 2021 from 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 1:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel with Rev. Honorio Velasques officiating. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers: Edward Sosa Jr., Isaiah Villalobos, Jaime Guerra, Aaron Nava, Alfred Marez and Isabella Sosa.
