Elfida Garcia Arenas, of Kenedy, TX born on September 27, 1928 in Yorktown, TX to Gonzalo and Cecilia Figueroa passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 89. Elfida was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Angell of Kenedy, TX; her grandchildren, Anthony D. (Laura) Serenil, of Kenedy, TX, Kristine Serenil, of Kenedy, TX and Dylan Angell, San Antonio, TX; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Elida (Manuel)Servantes, of Port Lavaca, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. Visitation Friday, Apil 6, 2018 from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Departure from funeral home Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 9:00a.m. for a 9:30a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert Hermann officiating.
