Rose Marie Saenz Rakowitz, Age 47 of Karnes City, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 in San Antonio, TX.  Rose was born on August 7, 1978 in Coffeyville, KS to Estanislado “John” and Dora Navarro Saenz.  She with her husband owned and operated Lone Star Arms and Ammo and Old 181 Wrecker Service in Kenedy, TX faithfully and diligently serving all of Karnes County. She married Peter Alton Rakowitz on Dec. 14, 2009 in Karnes City, TX.  Rose was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and of the Christian Faith who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband Peter Alton Rakowitz and her daughter Paisley Brianna Rakowitz of Karnes City and many dear family member and friends.

Family Visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2026 from 6PM to 8PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel.  Services will be Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 10AM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jessica Marquez and Pastor Ed Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Karnes City Cemetery in Karnes City, TX.
