Ruth Irene Remmers, of Leander, TX formerly of Kenedy,TX was born on October 20, 1935 to Gilbert Milton Hooper and Wilma Sikes Hooper passed away on November 22, 2019 at the age of 84. Mrs. Remmers was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Walter Remmers, Jr., in March, 2013. She is survived by her daughter: Barbara (Randy) Brown of Leander, TX; son: Gary Remmers of Three Rivers, TX; 6 grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; sister: Wilma Jean Crites and brother: Glen Hooper and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 11:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel with Graveside services at 1:30p.m. at Kenedy Cemetery with Mr. W.B. Howard officiating. Interment in Kenedy Cemetery.

Robert Lee Moses III, of Kenedy, Texas born on July 13,1999 in Seguin, TX passed away on November 6, 2019 at the age of 20. Robert is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Robert Lee Moses and Monty Beth Burris Moses, his maternal grandfather, Juan G. Segura; his step grandfather, Domingo Pesina, his uncle, Michael Pesina. Survivors include his father: Robert Lee Moses Jr. of Kenedy, TX; mother: Angelica (Tracy) Barrier, of Karnes City, TX; maternal grandmother: Eusebia Rodriguez, of Karnes City, TX; Aunts: Erica Gutierrez, of Karnes City, TX, Robbie (James )Shortner of Karnes City, TX; Uncles: Steven Pesina, of Karnes City, TX and Hal (Lynn) Moses of Alvin, TX; stepbrothers: Dustin and Darren Pacheco; nieces: Natalie Pacheco, of Karnes City, TX; cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at Eckols Chapel with Maria Pesina officiating. Interment to follow in Kenedy Cemetery. Santiago Guajardo “Welo” Solis, of Kenedy,Texas born on July 25, 1934 in Kenedy, Texas passed away on November 7, 2019 at the age of 85. Mr. Solis was retired as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents: Francisco Solis and Maria Guajardo Solis and siblings: 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include his wife, Manuela Rios Solis; son: Santiago R. (Cynthia) Solis Jr. of Kenedy,TX; daughters: Margarita “Margie” (Gregorio Jr.) Morales, and Rebecca S. (Danny) Diaz, both of Kenedy,TX; brother: Domingo Solis of Kenedy,TX; 8 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert Hermann officiating with interment following in Loma Alta Cemetery. Pallbearers: James Sutton, Joe Daniel Solis, Theodore Rios, Steve Gonzales, Ruben Solis, Michael Solis. Clarona “Clara” Ida Koerth Kotzur, Age 89 of Pettus, TX passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Karnes City, TX. Clara was born on March 27, 1930 in Yoakum, TX to the late Fred and Leona Windmeyer Koerth. She married Joseph “Joe” Kotzur on Feb. 10, 1951 in Karnes City, TX; retired as an accountant for K.R. Leggett Construction company in Pettus; was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a member of The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Kotzur; parents Fred and Leona Windmeyer Koerth and a brother Marlin Koerth.
Clara is survived by her daughter, Deborah Styra and husband Ferdinand of Yorktown; sons, Steve Kotzur of Berclair, Terry Wood of Lake Hills; grandson, Brett Styra of Yorktown and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 4, 2019 from 6P.M. to 8P.M. in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 10A.M. at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wally Schievelbein officiating. Interment will follow in the Kenedy Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers: Danny Koerth, Lloyd Koerth, Ray Koerth, Jerry Kotzur, Cody Kanak, Kevin Kanak, E.M. Kotzur, Jr., Kenneth Kotzur.

Dale St. John, 81, of Kenedy, Texas died September 28, 2019 in Ozark, Arkansas. She was born on June 2, 1938 in Beeville, Texas, the daughter of the late Melvin Vaughn and Hazel Velma Bryan. She was the oldest of six siblings. In August of 1960, she married the love of her life, Clealan L. Pierce who was killed while serving in the United States Navy on January 4, 1962. She met and later married Charlie St. John on December 20, 1965 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Together they raised three wonderful children.
Dale graduated from Pan American University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s of Art Degree. She was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta. She received multiple awards in History and graduated with High Honors. She was an advid reader and enjoyed sharing her large collection of books with others.
Dale is survived by her daughters Carla Kuykendall and Marcie St John, both of Dallas, Texas. Her grandchildren Brittany Hall of Ft. Worth, Texas; Nicholas Hall of Eustis, Florida; Raye Ellen Wood of San Antonio, Texas; Pricilla St. John of Karnes City, Texas; Jessica Jalufka of Allen, Texas; and Coleton and Courtney Henry of Dallas, Texas. Her great grandchildren Tristan, Emma, Cody and Sophie Chittenden of Ft. Worth, Texas; Ryder, Jagger and Harper Hartsfield of Karnes City, Texas; Kristina Wood of San Antonio, Texas; and Ryder Koop of Allen, Texas. Siblings are Bays Bryan of Kenedy, Texas; Roy Bryan of Florence, Alabama; Richard Bryan of San Antonio, Texas; Reagan Bryan on Kenedy, Texas; and Vaughn Bryan of San Antonio, Texas. Dale was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Kaiulani Lehua and her only son Karnes County Deputy Sheriff Rex Harrison St. John.
A graveside memorial service will be held at The Kenedy Cemetery in Kenedy, Texas on Wednesday November 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Services will be officiated by Rev. Aaron Corporon.
