Juan Manuel Bryan of Runge, Texas born on May 6, 1932 in Charco, Texas to Juan Bryan and Clemencia Mireles Bryan passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the age of 87. Mr. Bryan was first and foremost a family man. He was preceded in death by his son: Rogelio Bryan. Survivors include his wife of 60 years: Christina Palomo Bryan of Runge, Texas; his 9 children: Esmeralda (Mike) B. Castro, of Runge, Texas, Beatrice (Adam aka “Otto”) B. Gonzales, of Runge, Texas , Juan (Florence) M. Bryan Jr., of Kenedy,Texas, Lupe (Robert) Pipes of Midland, Texas, Edward (Irma) Bryan of Skidmore, Texas, Christy Cortez of Austin,Texas, Annette (Eloy) Bryan of Karnes City,Texas, Ermalinda (Ronnie) Bryan of Runge, Texas , Janet (Alex) Rios of Runge, Texas; 27 grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; sister: Demencia Molina of Runge, Texas; brothers: Delfino Bryan of Round Rock, Texas and Enedino Bryan of Runge, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Monday, at Eckols Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert Hermann officiating with interment to follow in Runge Cemetery, Runge, Texas. Pallbearers: David Castro, Roger Barraza, Austin Bryan, Robert Pipes III, Derek Bryan, Skyler Cortez, Bryan Winters, Ruben Solis, and Michael Rios.
