Bailey Ray Atkinson age 69 of Kenedy passed away July 23, 2015.  Bailey was born in Kenedy Oct. 9, 1945 to Bailey F. & Sybil Radicke Atkinson.  Bailey worked as a Lab tech for Ashland for 45 years, and was a rancher.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.Bailey is survived by his Mother Sybil Atkinson, wife Norma Remmers Atkinson of Kenedy, daughters Vicki (Sean) Noble of San Marcos, CA, Lisa (Tom) Devine of Stafford, VA, son Scott (Lisa) Atkinson of Kenedy, Sisters Beverly Castle of San Antonio, Becky Spahn of Karnes City, Brenda Wymer of San Antonio, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his father, sister Candace Novak, brother Jimmy Atkinson, and great-grandson J.D. Ferron.  A visitation will be held Sunday, July 26^th. From 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Eckols Chapel.  Funeral services will be held Monday July 27^th. At 10:30 AM at the Eckols Chapel with T.J. Burris officiating.  Interment will follow in the Kenedy Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Nurses in Touch, South Texas Children Home, or to the First Baptist Church in Kenedy.
