Aquilino Salinas, Sr. age 82 of Kenedy died May 8, 2015 in Kenedy.  He was born  Jan. 4, 1933 in Kenedy to Antonio & Anita Salinas.  He worked at the Compress as a Warehouse manager.  He is precede in death by his parents and wife Rafela Calderon Salinas.  He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Salinas of Kenedy, Patricia (Archie) Kotzur of Kenedy, Wanda (Richard) Canales of Uvalde, & Jennifer Fraga of Kenedy.  Sons Aquilino (Doren) Salinas, Jr., of Kendy, Jay Salinas, Sr. of Kenedy & Kelly (Yolanda) Salinas of Schertz, TX. One brother Ladislow Salinas of San Antonio.

Rosary will be held at the Eckols Chapel Monday May 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM, with funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.  Interment will be in the Loma Alta Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Hector Salazar, Jr., Anthony Salinas, Sr., Ernnie Salinas, Jay Salinas, Jr., Jokob-Dyllan Castillo, & Anthony Salinas, Jr.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Trey Salinas, TSgt. Cody Kotzur, Jalon Canales, & the grand & great grandchildren.
