The newlyweds purchased a farm west of Kenedy, where they lived until 1968. At that time, they moved to their present home.

Ann was a devoted mother to her five children. She went above and beyond to provide her family a loving, Christian home. She and Eric grew their own fruit and vegetables and raised their own meat.
