Luzelida Charles, Age 81 of Runge, TX passed away on November 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family in Runge.  Luzelida was born on March 24, 1944 in Runge to the late Juan and Felipa Cortez DeLosSantos.  She married Robert R. Charles who precedes her in death. She retired from Pawnee ISD as a Special Education Teacher; was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and a devout member of Church On The Rock in Pettus, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Felipa Cortez De Los Santos; husband, Robert R. Charles, Sr.; daughter, Elena Charles; son, Rudy Charles; sisters, Esperanza Moreno, Aurora Renteria; brothers, Baldo De Los Santos, Arnulfo De Los Santos, Ruben De Los Santos and Juan De Los Santos.

She is survived children, Donna Rios of Runge, Robert Lee Charles and wife Ester of Runge, Irael Charles and wife Sarah of Tuleta, Ricky Charles of Runge, Moses Charles and wife Rebecca of Runge; sister, Nena Albert and husband Ron; brothers, Gilbert De Los Santos, Rudy De Los Santos and wife Lydia, numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren and many extended family members and dear friends.

Family Visitation will be held Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 5PM to 7PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with Paster Robert Lee Charles officiating.  Services will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10AM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Lee Charles officiating.  Interment will follow in the Runge Latin Cemetery in Runge, TX.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren.
