Jose DeLa Rosa, age 95 of  Kenedy died August 22, 2010 in a Karnes City nursing home.  He was born in Mexico January 6, 1915.  He came to the US and worked on ranches most of his life.  He married Rita Salinas and she preceded him in death.  He is survived by stepchildren Rosa and husband Enrique Carrasco of Kenedy, Mark DeLa Rosa, and grandsons Johnny and Chris Carrasco both of Kenedy.

Rosary will be recited Wednesday, Aug. 25^th. At 7 PM at the Eckols Chapel.  Mass will be at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be in the Sacred Heaart Cemetery.
