Joe E. Jaramillo, Age 86 of Kenedy, TX passed away on January 25, 2026 in San Antonio, TX.  Joe was born on September 8, 1939 in San Antonio to the late Jose and Santos Enriquez Jaramillo.  Joe served his country proudly in Army National Guard, was a loving father, companion, retired long haul truck driver, retired constable, jack of all trades and of the Catholic Faith who will be dearly missed.  Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Santos Enriquez Jaramillo, sisters, Ramona Soto, Helen Salvera and a brother, Albert Jaramillo.  Joe is survived by his companion Liza Trevino; children, Sidney Joe Jaramillo, Sally Piwonka and husband Marvin, Russell Mullinix, Diana Sherrill, Jean Chitwood and husband Bryan, Ernest Garcia; sisters, Vera Wright, Tillie Molina; brother, Jimmy Jaramillo and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 9AM to 12PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel.  Inurnment with Military Honors will take place at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX at a later date.
