With great sadness, we announce the passing of our mom, Guadalupe DeLeon, whose life was stitched together with kindness and love.  She was born on August 13, 1948 in Pawnee, TX to the late Dionicio and Ramona Martinez Rodriquez. She was the kind of woman who made a house feel like home. Her love showed up in a thousand ways and the comfort of knowing she was always there.  One of her greatest joys was sewing.  With needle and thread, she created memories.  Each stitch carried her care, each finished piece a reflection of her creativity and dedication.  Sewing was her art, her peace, and her way of giving love without words.  Many of us carry pieces she made, and with them, pieces of her heart.  She leaves behind a devoted husband, five children, 15 grandchildren and nine grandchildren. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains in every thread of love that binds our family together forever.  She will be deeply missed.

Public Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 1PM to 5PM with Family Visitation from 5PM to 7PM and a Holy Rosary will be recited at 7PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Guadalupe Cantu officiating.  Inurnment will follow at a later date.
