Robert Eugene Fields, Sr., 91 of Tulsita, TX passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  He was born in Kingsbury, TX January 21, 1934 to James E. Fields and Nina Mae (Shook) Fields.  He married Violet Loraine (Vaught) on April 10, 1953 in Rockport, TX.  He worked for Phillps 66 from 1956-1965; then worked for Monsanto Chemical from 1965 till he retired in 1985.  He also served on the Alvin City Council.  He dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Violet Fields; his parents James E. Fields and Nina Fields; brothers, JD Fields and Donnie Fields; sisters, Evelyn Hull, Jonell Wright, Nina Ann Fields and Betsy Kinsel.  He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Cade and Alice Faye Burrows; children, Judith and husband Keith Davis of Sweeny, TX, Valerie Moore of Tulsita, TX, Jennifer and husband Gary Massey of Alvin, TX, Robert E. Fields, Jr of Beeville, TX, Phillip Fields of Alvin, TX; grandchildren, Lisa Davis, Kimberly Burke, Robert Moore, Jarod Massey, Brett Massey, Patrick Massey, Clayton Fields; 8 great-grandchildren, Faye, Sophie, Hope, Brooklyn, Jacob, joey, Brazos and Austin.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2025 from 1PM to 2PM with Services at 2PM in the Eckols Funeral Home Chapel with John Sisk officiating.
