Carolyn Marie (Barber) Honeycutt
In 2 Corinthians 5:8 the word of God tells us to absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Carolyn Marie (Barber) Honeycutt was born on December 5, 1961 in Karnes City, Texas to Leonard and Edith Barber and she took her rest in Jesus on 7 January 2025. She invited Jesus into her heart and received the gift of salvation. She grew up in Kenedy, TX where she spent most of her life serving others. Carolyn dedicated her life to her husband and to her children. Family was everything to her and during the last few days she was able to spend her life surrounded by family. She loved and spoiled her grandchildren and great grandchildren to the point where her children thought she owned a toy store. She un-selfishly spent a lot her time and her money making sure that others needs were met. Any placed she worked was blessed to have her as an employee, because wherever she worked was prosperous, all because she had a servant’s heart. Her favorite place of employment was the cafeteria at Kenedy Elementary School and it was because of the fierce love she had for the students. She brought joy and light to anyone she came in contact with. She was a pillar of light in her community and her presence was known as she made positive impacts where she could. Her smile was radiant and genuine and one could not help but to return the smile back to her. Carolyn will be missed by many of her friends and those she came in contact with. She was truly a loving and caring person. There is a lot more that could be said about Carolyn but her actions showed what is not written. Rest on baby girl, you are now pain free.
