Ruben Torres, Jr.  age 56, of Kenedy, Texas entered into rest on February 1, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1965 in Hamlin, Texas to the late Ruben Torres, Sr. and is survived by his mother Mary Rodriguez Torres of Kenedy, TX and wife Christina Torres and children: David (Vanessa) Monsevais, Martin Monsevais, Melisa Torres, Ruben Torres, III, Angelo Rey Torres, Janelle Torres; sisters: Amalia (Oscar) Segura, Dee Dee (Aquilino) Salinas, Elizabeth (Leo) Lira, Shirley (Victor) Gonzales. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Mariyah Monsevais, Aaron Monsevais; several nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and so many cousins, that ever so loved him.  He loved to be outdoors and loved to work and family gatherings. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Eckols Chapel. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 7:00p.m.at Eckols Chapel on Wednesday, February 9th, 2022.Funeral Services  will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at Eckols with Interment to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Melgoza Noah Torres, Jojo Sosa, Abel Soliz III, Michael Ray Prieto, Anthony Sosa, Demetrio Sosa, Johnathan Mendez. Honorary Pallbearer: Adam Hernandez.
