Jason John Perez Macias

Jason John Perez Macias, of Three Rivers, Texas was born on August 6, 1998 to Manuel Macias Jr. and Diana Perez in Beeville, Texas passed away on December 7, 2020 at the age of 22. Jason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Manuel and Tomasa Macias Sr.. He is survived by his maternal grandmother: Maria Perez and step grandfather: Juan Rocha, both of Three Rivers, TX; his father: Manuel Macias Jr. (Vilma) of Yorktown, TX; his mother: Diana Perez (Richard Gonzales) of Three Rivers, TX; sisters: Adrianna Perez of Victoria, TX and Angeline Bella Macias of Yorktown, TX; brothers: Fredrick Mario Perez of Three Rivers, TX and Manuel Macias III of Yorktown, TX; 8 uncles; 5 aunts; numerous cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Funeral services Monday, December 14, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at Eckols Chapel. Interment to follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Pawnee, TX. Pallbearers: Richard Gonzales, Saul Perez, Hilberto Perez, Candelario Ramirez Jr., John Eric Garcia, Brandon Carasco. Honorary Pallbearers:  Frederick Mario Perez and Manuel Macias III.

Josephine Ann Walleck Hierholzer

Josephine Ann Walleck Hierholzer, Age 92 of Fashing, Texas passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020. Josephine was born in Coy City, Texas to Henry and Anastazia Walleck. After the death of her mother she enjoyed many years with her step-mother Agnes Walleck. She married A.H. “Petie” Hierholzer on January 1, 1949. After getting married she resided in Fashing, Texas the rest of her life. She loved the community of Fashing. Her home was always open to family and friends. A hot cup of coffee, warm kolaches, baked goods, and dominoes at the kitchen table were enjoyed by many. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, A.H. “Petie” Hierholzer, her parents and eight siblings: Edna Kotzur, Anita Buehring, Mae Buehring, Alton Sain, Henry Walleck, George Walleck, Sam Walleck and Helen Minnie.  She is survived by her children, Wayne Hierholzer (Charlene) of Coy City, Texas, Gary Hierholzer of Fashing, Texas and Ruth Ann Rowland of Austin, Texas. Four Grandchildren: Joi Culpepper (Dusty), Jodi Hierholzer, Jayson Hierholzer, and Jacob Hierholzer (Hannah); Six Great Grandchildren: Kolby, Briley, Kacelyn, Fallon, Layla, Lane and sister-in-laws: Peggy Walleck and Martina Walleck.  Services will be at the Fashing Cemetery Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11A.M. Immediate family Only will meet at Eckols Funeral Home at 10A.M. for a short prayer service and then go in procession to the cemetery. For everyone’s safety, the family is requesting social distancing and please wear a face mask. There will not be a meal following the Graveside Service.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fashing United Methodist Church, the Fashing Cemetery, or charity of one’s choice.

Gracie Marie Morin

Gracie Marie Morin, of Kenedy, Texas was born in Beeville, Texas to Jesse and Lisa Guerra Morin passed away on November 28, 2020 at the age of 44. She is preceded in death by her parents.  Gracie is survived by her sons: Joseph A. Hernandez(Marisela Perez) of Kenedy, TX, David DeLeon (Isaac Valerio) of Austin, TX,. Eric Hernandez of Kenedy, TX and Jacob DeLeon of Kenedy,TX. grandson: Riley Hernandez; and Grandmother: Hortencia Guerra and other relatives.  Her immediate family came together to  pay their  final respects  and were led in prayer  by Rev. Bergin of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church and her cremains will be placed in a Crown Satin Urn and will be laid to rest near her parents at a later date.  The family would like to thank the following persons for their generosity: Carol Gaskamp, Sandra Reyna, Ida Garza, Steven Martinez, Katie and Jesse Lomas, Diana Martinez, Brianna Garza, Sobie and Sandra Longoria, Marisela Perez, Stephen Arenal, Jesse and Jerome Barrientez, Mary Guerra, Sue B.
