Carmelita Guevara of Kenedy, TX born on July 11, 1938 in Kenedy,TX passed away on February 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Carmelita was preceded in death by her husband Gregorio Rodriguez. Survivors include her son: Billy Joe (Hope) Guevara of Beeville,TX; stepdaughters: Miranda Rodriguez Solano of Conroe,TX and Maria Rodriguez Burrow of Katy,TX; stepsons: Ezequil Casarez of Three Rivers,TX and Gregory Rodriguez of Junction,TX; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister: Alicia Munoz of Belton,TX; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 4:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Funeral Services Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at Eckols Chapel with Pastor Joel Velasquez officiating. Interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Kenedy, TX.
