Angelita E. Amaya, born on September 11, 1929 in Choate, TX passed away on April 14, 2018 at the age of 88. Mrs. Amaya is preceded in death by her husband, Juan in 1991. She is also preceded in death by her daughters: Mary, Herlinda, Aurora and Eva; her sons, Raymond and Felipe. She is survived by her sons: Juan Amaya Jr., Isidro Amaya, Raymond Amaya, David Amaya and Martin Amaya; her daughters: Maria Inez Amaya, Janie Jacques, Petra Ramirez; sister, Aurora Lozano, 42 grandchildren ; 115 great grandchildren; 82 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 12:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. at Eckols Chapel. Departure from funeral home on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 9:30a.m. for a 10:00a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert Hermann officiating. Interment to follow in Loma Alta Cemetery. Pallbearers: Alfredo Amaya, Alfonso Ramos Jr., Arturo Amaya, Larry Baldera, Julian Tovar, Benny Amaya, Roger Alvarez and Steven Amaya.
